Our focus is on, but not limited to, small and medium enterprises (SME's). In this sector we believe that there is a big gap to fill where IT is concerned. There are a lot of players in the technology industry but few of them provide a comprehensive solution like NTX does.
Management
Alberto Berrino, Managing Director
Alberto Berrino’s experience in the information technology spans many years. He has worked for several companies both in South Africa and abroad. He is a qualified MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) and received his training at Accenture and Tech Connect (Kingston, UK). He has since attended courses on Linux server based operating systems and communication technology.
He spent a year and a half at BT-Unisys and City Cable (London, UK) where he was responsible for networked voice and data installations comprising of Cat5 and fibre optics and quality control. In 2001 Alberto joined Accenture’s European Service Centre (Dublin, Ireland) as a first line technical support agent.
On returning to South Africa in 2002, Alberto joined Paracon where he was subcontracted to Unicode (Pty) Ltd. Here he was responsible for management of mail and ISP connectivity, back-up implementation and management. He supervised server, network and operation control, overseeing all operational aspects of the servers and constantly monitoring the performance to ensure that uptime was kept to the optimum. Other responsibilities included installing and configuring wired and wireless networks, management of network outsourced service providers and internet and email connectivity/configuration.
He has extensive knowledge on both server and workstation operating systems including Windows and Linux.
